Selection and ordering notes
The EN 1092-1 type 11 weld neck flange is the metric counterpart of the ASME weld neck design. The hub provides a smooth stress transition and the type is used safely in higher PN classes.
EN flanges have a different bolt circle from ASME types, so the mating flange must share the same standard. PN 16 is the general service class of industrial plants and matches DIN/EN equipment directly. See flange types guide for the details.
