Applications and selection notes
Three things drive flange selection: pressure class, face type and material grade. At the same size, 150# and 300# have different bolt circles, so the flange must match its mate in both standard and class. Weld neck suits high pressure and thermal cycling, slip-on low pressure general service, and blind flanges close off a line.
Always state the pipe schedule when ordering weld neck flanges, because the hub bore is machined to the wall thickness. See flange types and RF, FF and RTJ faces for the details.
