Selection and ordering notes
The EN 1092-1 type 05 blind flange closes a line in metric systems. It is used for maintenance isolation, pressure testing and at the ends of lines to be extended later.
Body thickness increases with PN class, so the gasket and stud set must be selected accordingly. Low classes such as PN 2.5 and PN 6 are used in ventilation, low pressure water and utility lines. See what is a blind flange for the details.
