Applications and selection notes
In a trunnion mounted ball valve the ball is supported top and bottom, so the bearings carry the line load and operating torque stays low even at large sizes and high pressure. Spring loaded seats are pushed against the ball by pressure, which also provides the double block and bleed function.
It is the standard solution for transmission lines, stations and high pressure process service. State full or reduced bore, fire safe certification, body and ball material and actuation on the enquiry.
