Applications and selection notes
A high performance butterfly valve uses double offset geometry to remove friction between disc and seat, which extends seal life and allows higher pressure and temperature. Metal seated versions suit high temperature and fire safe service, while soft seated versions are chosen where tight shut off is required.
Request API 607 fire safe certification in hydrocarbon and flammable service, and an ISO 15848 emission class where fugitive emissions matter. State size, pressure class, body and disc material and actuation together.
