Applications and selection notes

Cryogenic valves work in service down to −196 °C: LNG, liquid nitrogen, oxygen and argon lines. An extended bonnet keeps the packing away from the cold zone, and the body is made from stainless grades that retain toughness at low temperature.

A cavity pressure relief hole is needed to prevent trapped liquid from expanding. State operating temperature, fluid, cleanliness class (particularly oil free delivery in oxygen service) and test requirements on the enquiry.
