Applications and selection notes
A diaphragm valve completely separates the fluid from the stem and bonnet. That construction is decisive where leakage or contamination is unacceptable: food, pharmaceutical, chemical dosing and high purity water lines. It also closes reliably on fluids carrying solids.
Diaphragm material (EPDM, PTFE faced) is selected for the chemistry and temperature of the fluid. Lined bodies extend life in corrosive service, so state the fluid details with your enquiry.
